Hey there! I'm Bryn. I'm a writer/director/actor/whatever, and I've been doing it forever.
I wrote my first feature script at age 8. I used my dad's camcorder to film comedy sketches and stop motion videos where my Barbies fought each other with the weapons from Clue. Seeking advice on how I can get back to that level of productivity.
I have a penchant for creating stories featuring strong, complex female leads; dark comedy and queer themes - preferably all three!
I've been directing films since 2009 and have been at the helm of dozens of projects, taking home awards from the LA Webfest, the Accolade Competition and the SMC Film Festival. "Just Desserts", a short I wrote, directed and produced, was screened in the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
My first feature film, "Her Side of the Bed," was accepted into several festivals and is now being distributed in North America and overseas. The second feature I directed, "Under the Influencer" was accepted into QueerScreen's Goes to Cannes program. I'm currently in production on a documentary about my and my friends' experiences in the Troubled Teen Industry.
