Hey there! I’m Bryn — a filmmaker/performer/writer/etc., and I’ve been at forever.
I wrote my first feature script at age eight and used my dad’s camcorder to make comedy sketches and stop-motion videos of my Barbies fighting each other with weapons from Clue. Seeking advice on how to get back to that level of productivity.
I have a penchant for creating stories with strong, complex female leads, dark comedy, and queer themes — preferably all three.
I’ve been directing films since 2009 and have helmed dozens of projects, earning roughly a dozen awards and screening work at festivals including Cannes.
My first feature, Her Side of the Bed, played multiple festivals and secured both North American and international distribution. My second feature, Under the Influencer, screened at 17 festivals, won five awards, and is currently in talks for distribution.
My solo show SMUT, which I wrote, produced, and performed, received rave reviews at both Hollywood Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe.
I’m currently in production on a documentary about my and my friends’ experiences in the Troubled Teen Industry.
